About
I build large-scale distributed systems, and for the last stretch that has meant agent platforms. Five-plus years across AI infrastructure and fintech.
Today I lead the team behind Nora at Abnormal AI. Before that, three years at Bloomberg in AIM Compliance, replacing a 25-year-old trading-data codebase while it stayed in production.
Now and then I take the work to a stage. At PGConf India 2024 I spoke on
the internals of
incremental materialized views and pg_ivm β the rest are on the
Talks page.
The short version: I like problems where the hard part is the data, not the demo.
Nora β Abnormal AI's first agent employee
A company-wide multi-agent platform that answers in Slack, searches across every internal system, and writes and runs code for people who don't write code.
One arm of it is the Software Factory β a lights-on pipeline that picks up customer-raised bugs, writes and tests a fix, and hands it to a human for a final review before it ships. Every team at Abnormal runs on it today.
Experience
Three roles. Open one to read the detail.
Abnormal AI SWE 2, AI Transformation May 2025 β Present
- Building Nora, Abnormal's company-wide multi-agent platform β 300+ personas serving over 2,000 Slack requests a day.
- Designed the unified retrieval layer over OpenSearch: one search surface across Slack, Jira, GitHub, Gong, Confluence and Salesforce, instead of an integration per API.
- Built a dual-sandbox execution model β a code interpreter alongside a Modal-hosted devbox β so non-technical staff can ship working code straight from a Slack thread.
Bloomberg Software Engineer, AIM Compliance Aug 2022 β May 2025
- Redesigned trading-data infrastructure β Watchlists, Custom Issuers and NAVs β retiring a codebase older than most of the team.
- Member of the Databases Guild; spoke on incremental materialized views at PGConf India 2024.
Flipkart SWE Intern, Shopsy Jan 2022 β Jul 2022
- Integrated a third-party referral-link service with Shopsy's backend.
Tools
Side projects
Built on weekends, mostly to find out how something works.
A private voice journal for ADHD overwhelm. Talk in whatever language comes out; it cuts the recording into rambles at natural pauses, transcribes them and makes them searchable. Runs entirely on your own machine.
A web app that implements a game-theory-optimal prediction paper, so I could see whether the maths held up.
A self-paced course on why LLM inference is hard, in eleven levels from the transformer forward pass to distributed serving. Every level circles one idea: generating a token means reading every model weight from memory, so the bytes cost more than the maths. Wrapped in a Pac-Man arcade theme.

Happy to talk about agent platforms, retrieval at scale, or why your Postgres query got slow. Mail is the fastest way to reach me, or grab a slot straight on my calendar.
